We first heard about Acorns when Ashton Kutcher mentioned it on an interview. He was asked, what new product or company he was investing in, his answer, "Acorns." Before you know it, it was all over social media and the internet. Forbes, the Apple store, Fast Company, and CNBC to name a few were speaking about the App.
How it works: You download the Acorns App, add your bank and debit card information, and you're all set. From then on, every time you use your debit card Acorns will round the spare change from your transaction, round it off to the nearest dollar and invest that change for you into a combination of stocks and bonds.
The app also allows you to open a Roth IRA account so that you can start investing in you future.
The beauty of this app is that nothing has to change in your life, you just shop as you normally would for the things that you normally buy, and pay your bills as you normally would with your debit card, and the app does the investing for you.
Let Acorns take your spare change so that it can start investing in your future.
